Actors are props with dialogue.
Just kidding, I used to do theater tech back when I was still a masochist

Yea, I pretty much decided to keep doing plays. because Idk if I'll be able to get a debate or forensics scholarship so I might as well be ready for a theatre scholarship instead.
Isn't no issue with me, I memorize shit pretty easy so to me learning lines are a joke.
Getting a lead in a few plays is going to help getting one a lot too.
Plus I go to practice blazed every day.

Last year I think I was actually. It was me, one college girl (who I assume doesn't smoke), and 3 kids from highschool.
Although quite a few of us are I think (going to be blazed).

I don't know about anyone else but if I smoke and watch a movie or something I can't help but notice how fake the actors a dialog sound.
I imagine if I ever get an opportunity to act or direct blazing would be the only way to make a convincing movie

Yeah, theater is hard. I was lucky enough to go to a school with a good arts program at a time when they had a lot of really talented people there.
Ahh flashing back to the good old days of gaffers tape and setting the upstage traveler on fire
/Copypasta warning/ Signs You've Been in the Theatre Too Much
Your weekend consists of Monday, and only Monday.
Q is not just a letter.
You know more than one theory for the origin of the name green room.
You can only read from a light that is blue.
You consider the red part of the stoplight the standby.
You can't remember what daylight looks like.
You feel naked without your keys attached to your belt loop, or your belt without your Maglite, Leatherman, and Gerber.
You know tie-line has several uses: shoelaces, belts, ponytail holders...
95% of your wardrobe is black.
You tell more stories of what went wrong on shows you've done than what went smoothly.
You start wondering what it feels like to be a prop.
You know that anything can be fixed with gaff tape, Mortite, sculpt-er-coat, a sharpie, tie-line, and a safety pin.
Your diet consists of fast food or microwaved food.
Your Halloween costume in some way utilizes running blacks and gaff tape.
Varying your diet means ordering the #2 instead of the #3 or eating with your left hand instead of your right.
You understand the jokes in Forbidden Broadway.
You insist on spelling theatre with an re not an er. (Okay that one hurts)
People recognize you by the sound of your keys jingling down the hallway.
Going to a restaurant means ordering and sitting down in McDonald's rather than the drive-thru.
Practical, Drop, and Flat are nouns.
Instead of saying that you're leaving, you say you're exiting.
At home, you strike your dishes to the kitchen.
If someone asks you what time it is, you respond with something like 'Half hour 'til half hour'.
Also this pretty much true: Tech Week - The last week of rehearsal when everything that was supposed to be done weeks before finally comes together at the last minute; reaches its grand climax on final dress rehearsal night when costumes rip, a dimmer pack catches fire and the director has a nervous breakdown.

Not a clue. Get the script tomorrow.
It's about a dude that writes stories, and a series of child murders match what he writes.

Fucking hell, I forgot being the lead means practice every night. Luckily it's only 3 day practice now, and not 5 like last spring.
I'll post the name of the play after the performance.
Just because I don't feel like informing everybody.
