I love my avatar but I am thinking of changing it just cause I have had it for so long.
What do you think about your avatars and other people's here?
Whenever I change a signature or avatar I have had for a long time and still really love I sometimes put it in a journal entry as a kind of "temporary retirement" stash box. 
Though I do have the stoned melting guy in my sig... is that more or less of a reason to change it? 
Anyway... talk about avatars.
(we need a growery head emoticon btw)

Yes you should, if you didn't grow it don't avatar/signature it that's for posers.
I kind of think of avatars as the first way people identify each other on forums, you know it's an image to remember the name by. This is why I very rarely change mine. Plus I love this one.

I was a humping storm trooper for about 5 years. Then I decided that it was too unprofessional to be appropriate for a moderator, so now I have kermit the frog and I just act unprofessional instead
