Your avatar has one of my favorite actors in it. Pretty much anything he is in I love.

Also I like movies that I have to think about. Some of my favorites are:

Pulp Fiction
Reservoir dogs
Fargo
American History X
A Clockwork Orange
Letters to Zachary (Which I completely suggest to anyone) I even wrote a letter to the director after watching it, its a documentary.
Anything animated, not like anime but like kids shows haha
The Fly
Planet Terror
Kill Bill 1&2
Super Troopers
Trailer Park Boys the movies and the shows
Coneheads
Tommy Boy
Schindler's List
Contact
The Sixth Sense
Lords of dogtown
Sweeney Todd was actually pretty good even though I dont like musicals or johnny depp
Boondock Saints
Etc....

But I really recommend Letters to Zachary, it's really good and really fucked up.

Also there is another documentary about 3 old men who live on a farm one of the was accused of killing the 4th brother. That movie was really fucking good too.

I love all those.
Check out:
Once upon a time in America
In the Name of the Father
Chopper
Angela's Ashes
Leaving Las Vegas

And if you like Shindlers list:
Triumph of the Spirit
The Pianist
1990
Catch-22
Stalingrad

The last few are some serious WWII era movies.

It's actually very good and a bit more serious.... plus it's got Bill Murray playing Hunter so that automatically makes it a million times cooler.

No I just see every girl hyping it up, and I know what types of movies the girls I hang out with like. And I dont have the same taste.

Not saying that its a bad movie, I might watch it someday. But its not on the top of my list.

I agree girls like really trashy movies, but that doesn't mean they can't like good ones. The movie was hyped for a reason. I really almost cried. Almost. The story is that good.

You're not a serious movie watcher then. It's one of the greatest movies of all time and everyone thinks so. If you think Godfather, one of the most interesting and exciting films of all time is boring...... you need to not voice such stupidity, in a thread about film.

There isn't one actor in that movie that is a bad actor....... and It's one of the most beautifully shot films of all time.
De Niro
James Wood
Joe Pesci
Jennifer Connelly

It's the greatest mob epic of all time, you sure you saw the 4 hour version? Critics that saw the edited version hated it originally, but years later after the directors cut was released it was reconsidered to be one of best, underrated films of the era.
It's a film people either love or hate..... check out the movie 1990 and lemme know what you think, It's another De Niro epic with mixed reviews.

Agree that the film is packed with great actors, but that doesn't gurantee they will fit the part, or that they will mesh well with the director and over all vibe.

However, you might be right about the issue being with the cut I saw. Because there seemed to be a major lack of continuity and development, with the film just randomly jumping around.
