Amazon has it for like 110 shipped, but I think I might pay a few extra and get it off ebay, cause I get cash back for every purchase I make on there and it might equal out to cheaper there.
I'm just gonna put $50 aside from my next two checks and get it. Do let me know how it is before I buy it :P

got my box today (was supose to come on next wed.). So glad i get to play on this the whole weekend.
I havent had to sign up for anything... just plug and play. watched a few live porn channels first. worked perfectly. then a few tv channels. now im tryin to find a workin copy of iron man 3 last one wouldnt load ....

this box KICKS ass dude. last night me and the wife dosed and watched so many new movies, iron man, life of pi, Prometheus, and ted. There is soooo much media on this box.. and ive only tried 2 add odds. (they have folders and folders and folders of vids that were just uploaded).
Im pretty sure it pays torrents instantly... thats how it works. So much free shit.... it feels illegal.
Ill search that random movie after .... but im sure icefilms or 1 channel will have it.

Few things to keep in mind
-when i first connected it, nothing worked. every file said "error" . Then it said "update downloaded" on the bottom of the screen. and Everything worked. make sure you get the mx2 version it updates automatically. u dont need to hook it up to a labtop and find up dates.
-make sure u buy a hdmi cord (hidef cord). MANY of the vids are in 720hd -or better. and the cord they give u is just a basic one
- the remote is shit imo. its delayed and searching/spelling shit is pain (but it does work) (im gonna buy the nice remote sometime)
-vids are added and deleted every day some sites like naxi-x are hit and miss.... but sites like 1 channel 100% of the movies work.
-normal DVD quality starts in 2 seconds.... while 720 -1080 hd movies takes 2-4 mins (with my sloooooooooow internet connection.)
-there are LOTS of channels if you look. but they are not all layed out in a guide, like cable... some add-ons have lists of channels... others like navi-x is folders and folders and folders, of different media... one might be 25 chanels, another may be 7 porn , another may be 300 movies and 50 channels, another 1250 HD movies, etc (navi x has lots of user dowloaded media)..... I gotta start savin my links to my main screen . "mad max" folders KICK ASS!!!!
-If you keep watching porn the wife may get mad. even if you make a reference to a friends episode, that "if we stop watching it it may stop working".

my net is pretty much higher speed dial up (through the phone line)... but this box still works on mine.
I have no idea.... but site i got it from had keyboard remotes... and when i searched gbox on ebay a shit load of remotes came up.

Well its been a month so time for a update:
Still loving my gbox... i watched the man of steel last night (it was a cam version tho).
this thing has every movie and every tv show . Me and the wife have canceled the cable AND netflix now. And use this for most of our media. If something is out on the dvd its on dvd on this... if its in theaters u can find a cam version (usually decent)
Watching tv isnt as good as i had hoped.... If you use navi-x u have to find the right folders.... u can find them just takes time (there are thousands and thousands of people that upload media/live channels on navi-x)
We spend most our time using 1channel... It has everything... all the files work. and take 5-10 seconds to load anything.
note: *I did hit a file that whipped my gbox clean of xmbc.... but the folks and gboxcanada gave me steps to restore everything. i just needed a sd card and had to load em back on (takes like 20 mins). this only happened once and hasnt happened again.. but if it does i can just pop this card in and load em back.
Did anyone else order this box? im ordering my dad one next week. After he saw how he was missing out he wants one

So, would it be possible to hook a laptop up to the TV with XBMC plus all the said add-ons installed and be able to do everything all the same as the box?
