I don't think shelf space is their limiting factor at the clubs.

The lowryder just means that it's an autoflowering strain.  It doesn't have a long veg period and goes right into flowering.  It was originally a cross of an C. indica and a C. ruderalis plant.  that's why it autoflowers, bred for that feature through the rud.  As of my understanding, ruderalis is really low potency so you lose some of that with the finished product.  Plus the amount of harvest you get is dramatically reduced per plant, so that's one reason HB laugh's at a 'professional' cultivating that strain.  It's a novelty strain, like the dr. grinspoon strain.

interesting.  I think that most people think (including me!) that all the bud you'd find at a dispensary in CA, or CO for that matter, would be primo bud.  That's fucked up.  How much does a guy pay for an eighth of lowryder and 'bammer ass seeded weed' at a dispensary?

Most of the bud is very very top notch, but yeah some of them end up with really shitty weed and sell it for cheap. Quite frankly pisses me off, because if we're truly riding on the "medical" wave then there really should be no such thing as shitty, cheap medicine

however, one club I went to had a batch of banana kush that accidentally hermied for $100 an ounce because they just wanted to get rid of it but it was still really really good quality and only like 3 seeds per ounce. that was a score for sure
