I'm no trusted cultivator or what but I'd say no, the only difference will probably be the light distribution due to the different style of reflectors. Thats probably why the price is higher for one (the better one IMO) as the light distribution/spread would maybe be more effieient. But that info isn't from experience, just what I've read on these hydro sites selling lights n' what not. Air cooled systems is where it's at I think, so whatever way you go, you should get some nice buds, as with aircooling your plant/s can be closer to the lights therefore utilising the lumens more efficiently. Just my 2cents.

The second link has a magnetic ballast, those put off more heat than other ballasts, digital ballasts being the best in terms of heat.
If you go with the magnetic ballast, make sure to place it either outside the grow area or keep it high and well ventilated.
Good luck

Dude check out ebay. I've found some 600 watters in that price range. And defendly go with a digital/electronic ballast.

I got my lights from eBay for 50% what it would've cost me in a hydro shop.

discounthydro.com is super cheap, and most hydro shops (brick and mortar) match prices.

yep, as was said, the magnetic ballasts will always be hotter than a digital ballast, and they consume more energy and are louder too. Definitely go with the digital/electronic
