sativa strains?
    #453878 - 08/01/10 02:12 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

im not sure if this is the right forum to put this in buut,  im pretty sure ive never had  pure sativa or pure indica, but some weed i smoke gives me a bit of a body buzz. but some gives me a head feeling like i dont remember what just happend, but at the same time i do. i cant really explain it, but not every strain makes me feel like this in my head, is that a sativa or an indica domintat that messes with me like that? and they also usually give me a pressure behind my eyes when i get that head feeling. i really love it htough.

Sounds like some Indica weed to me, but its most likely a hi-bred of the two.

nowadays, the market is flooded with hybrids, very few people grow 100% sativa indoors due to their long flowering time, that being said, the pressure behind the eyes and head high are common of sativa dominant strains.

Indica = Couchlock/body high
Sativa = psychedelic/head high

and everything in between.

Durban Poison is my fav pure bred sativa. Its my favorite because its like doing a taking a major dose of caffeine except your smoking weed. Definitely a active strain giving a nice clear high and always in the medicine closet. I have some Durban Poison growing right now :smile:

I have also had pure Indica too. Effects sometimes vary but usually they just knock me out. I tend to stay away from Indicas for that reason.

my favorite thing about weed is just chillaxing, so i dont think i would enjoy a pure sativa as much as a hybrid or pure indica.

Is there a strain that gives a good head high, yet still a good body stone?

Classic hybrids are always good.

I like Northern Lights, it gives me a good body stone and some head effects.

Bubblegum although its more indica, gives me happiest stone I've ever had. Grinning like an idiot ear to ear.

The best way to find what suites you best is to get out there and smoke em all.

So far I'm a big ICE fan.  It's easy to grow very forgiving strain.  But as DD said you need to try as many as you can to see what's your favorite.

Being a old school guy. Back in the day Sativa was the most available. IMO its the best high! It does not demotivate. Back then There was gold, redbud, and one we called hashbud cause it tasted just like hash. If you did find a idica, it was usually thaistick, or Hawaiian. And yes...I do remember buying a stuffed to the brim baggie of great sativa for $15! Now I can't even remember the last time I saw sativa
;^(...
