I think it's purpose is to be pollenated by a male cannabis plant, grow seeds inside the ovaries, pass on it's genetics via reproduction.
Granted, my girlfriend doesn't really appreciate my literal viewpoint of existence on this earth, but face the facts.

There's no need to string him up because of the way he phrased the question. If he comes back and talks about God putting it on earth then we can string him up and poke him with cattle prods. I don't think it's any coincidence that cannabis can heal sooo many human ailments. WE have evolved right alongside of cannabis. We have a mutually beneficial relationship as described in the botany of desire. This does bring up a question of the evolution of the cannabis plant. I wonder what natural mechanism was in place that originally caused the plant to develop psychoactive properties in such great amounts of different chemicals? nature is fuckin crazy.
