see, when you have a limited selection like this, things tend to get disruptive in conversation, but bear with it, maybe you don't like ANY of this, but if you had to pick from a little bit older music, but not too far back in the millenium(whatsoever) which would you pick?

what is your favorite band? You may choose only one
	no one can tear the shit out of a guitar like Jimmy Hendrix
	Black Sabbath is so foundamental, no one defines something like them
	I like something simple, but that pounds some good music with meaning, like The Who
	cmon bro, who does more shit than Pink Floyd, they have a trillion albums, so much different meaning and sound put together, fucking rock on.
	if you ask me, I'd go with something that started it all, like Deep Purple, Cream, Or Led Zeppelin
	I don't like any of that shit, or I do, but who the hell has more defined and summoned technique with serious feeling and style like Miles Davis, or Dizzy Gillespi
	sure, some of those old rockers ripped a few harmonica chords with an amp on a few zeppelin songs, one hard sabbath song, and a ton of bad hard shit blues bands, but what happened to rolling and tumbling down the blues mountain in the muddiest water type

well, if you can't find a favorite on there, just pick one and post it, i just wanted to know how you felt about those choices

not everyone likes the Who, but I think they've done some bad fucking shit

and the cool thing about them, I think they're just as good or better live

You only have one American up there.

The Who was not a simple band. The chord changes, the concepts, the harmonies, the anthologies. And the bass tone! How could anyone deny the powerhouse that was John Entwistle? These things are not just thrown together without some vigor.

I'm more into Secret Chiefs 3, Porcupine Tree, and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum myself.
