i smoke a bongload and walk in to see a clip of some people talking on tv about nuking the oil leak, with a bunker buster type missle, said it would "close up on itself" lol wtf 2012, makes me think of the begining of the end

Ok so like back in the 80's the Russians had a natural gas leak that they used a nuke to close it up. the nuke goes off and such a hot temp it melts the surrounding rock and greats a shell that would close off the leak. But they are never going to do that shit, you think an oil spill is bad in the gulf. How about a radioactive oil spill? I think they just talk about it on TV because people watch it because it has to do with blowing shit up.

Note- that's for the whole situation in general 
The thing that really gets me is the condition of the wildlife and ecosystem man. Seeing those birds covered in oil just kills me.

You're right. I enjoy the burning of our natural resources all the time. But it's like they had no back up plan if something went wrong. And when you're drilling for oil in the open ocean, when something goes wrong, it goes REALLY wrong and affects a lot of animals and people that have no say in the matter.
I'm not saying stop burning all natural resources. I may have been a little quick to say I'd rather not have it or whatever, but this shit has the potential to really fuck up a lot of people's lives and animals and the ecosystem in general. The fisherman down there, the shrimpers, the animals themselves, a lot of things. I live in Virginia, and they're talking about the oil possible coming up here. Who knows if that's actually gonna happen, but damn. I'm not an animal freak or hippie or anything like that, but damn, can't we take care of the place we all live in a little better than this?
