Police find $1m cannabis stash in bunker

Police have found a large amount of cannabis and hydroponic equipment in an underground bunker near Tweed Heads on the Queensland-New South Wales border.

Officers executed a search warrant at a rural property at Tumbulgum this morning.

A 61-year-old man has been charged with drug-related offences.

Police say the cannabis had a possible street value of $1 million.
