Police in Counties Manukau seized $242,000 in cash, 6kg of cannabis and weapons in a car on Friday.

Two officers were called to a suspected domestic incident on Ronwood Avenue on Friday.
After smelling cannabis, they searched a car and found $242,000 in cash, cannabis, a stun gun and stolen property.

Two men, aged 32 and 40, have been charged and remanded in custody.
Since then, a man, 32, was pulled over for speeding in Otara on Sunday; 5kg of cannabis was located in a bag in the boot.

Police say paperwork in the car led them to a sophisticated commercial- scale cannabis growing operation in the area.
