Hippies By the Beach / Pictures

So I was down by Hunnington Beach, CA of course.
Because my siblings and I saw all these people holding signs.
I thought it would be some normal douche-y pick-it protest deal.
But it was just a bunch of 'weed supporters' cops were there making sure nothing sketching was happening.

Seems like it is helping, you don't sound so depressed.

I don't mind being sober and shit, but honestly it's like straight up medicinal for me these days.  If I wake up and don't feel good, it's gone 5 minutes after I puff.

If I'm steaming mad and having a bad day, same thing, I go to my happy place listen to some marley and forget all the negative shit.

Cannabis seems to put me in a positive mindset, which in turn has a positive impact on my life...  That's just me though, I've always been like that.

Yea dude, it can totally have positive effects, but when its an addiciton I have to feed it plays hard on my mind..

I don't see it as an addiction.  I know it has some light addictive effects, but I've been to the farthest end of that spectrum and weed is by far the most body-friendly drug you can use IMO.  It is different for everyone, so I can't say I know what you are going through, but I've had points in my life where I had to re-evaluate everything and generally it was ALWAYS some external stimuli that was really complicating things, and smoking a shit load doesn't help.  I only smoke enough to get a good buzz, I'm too conservative, so it doesn't fuck w/ my head like it used to.

Yea, I was abusing it,

I need some time to clear my head, save some money and get it together, I feel better, there are definitely a lot of other factors that attribute to it as well, probably since I was a child.. I need a break it can't hurt and when I do make that glorious return, it will be an epic one :bonghit:


I also didn't mean to imply you were addicted, I meant I was abusing it, and I didnt have a grasp on my use, and not having control greatly affected my emotions and stress levels

I know that, I was just explaining how everyone views things differently and it has an impact on how you use it.  See I don't smoke bowls and get fucking ripped all day, I smoke one hitters throughout the day to keep a level head then at night before I pass out is when I smoke a bowl or multiple onies.  It is much different than when I used to wake up with a bongload or whatever and continue that all day.  Plus it's a waste of weed.

Does weed really help? Cause when I have a headache, I take an asipirin. When I'm hungery, I just eat when I smoke weed I want food but my stomach never feels emptier. I just smoke because, well weed is awesome. I mean it's fine by me that people say they need marijuana for medicinal use, but do you guys really think that there isn't a better product out there? Don't you guys think half the reason you'd want it to be legal is so you can get fucked up all the time. I understand that weed isn't that bad for you, and I can lose a little bit of memory but still.

It helps my anxiety a lot.

helps me sleep...

and eat...

gives me creativity

makes me feel good.

Sounds pretty ignorant to me.  Are you questioning the medicinal value of cannabis?  One of the first medicines in human civilization?  :lol:  It's funny to me how people (not specifically you) can revel in their own ignorance and not give thought to the issue.  Let's forget about the natural substances and go with something that can be exclusively patented and protected by a company.  Everyone should try cannabis FIRST before you try a pill.
