lol no, a 250W will raise your bill by maybe $5 a month. You won't even notice.

Living in a small town is a blessing in disguise.
Why don't you grow some outside as well? I know where you live the growing season has already begun. Hell it has here and I'm not too far from the Canadian border.
But if you just want to do some small indoor personal grows just for headstash and speed, then just do what me and Harry tell you. This seems to be our strong point, especially the DIY aspect.
I have done a full 150w, HPS grow in a 2x2x3.5' and I still had 6 inches of clearance above my light. Just some info to throw your way.
Here is a good box I made that is performing beyond my expectations.
With this one though, I upped the height to 2x2x4', and still had a foot of extra space. Scrog and you will be golden!
