I'm not a huge fan. I do like classical guitar music though.

Here are some songs I dig:

Moonlight Sonata by Mozart:

The Aquarium by Jacques Pesi:

Cello Suite 1 by Bach

boo hoo? I'm sorry I made you cry.... It was just an observation

I'm sorry but it's simply not classical music   symphony music might be the most appropriate way to classify it, but classical music refers to a very specific time period for us educated folks

Dude, its classical. Symphony music is different than all of those actually. So educated you are not. The type of music they are is listed. I just told you what they were as well. If you dont want to call them classical, you cant call them symphony music either. Educated pshhhhhh. You dont need to come in here and start arguements man.

I'd call it a far more appropriate categorization than classical.

All of the pieces you picked were performed on piano, but they were explicitly written to be played by a full symphony or chamber ensemble.  I'm not picking a fight, merely pushing for the spread of correct information

No they were not meant to be accompained by a symphony. You arent spreading correct information at all man. Chopin didnt write anything but piano pieces. If you dont know about music, dont claim you do.

And this proves you dont know what you are talking about. If you want to classify "classical" as a certian time period you have to classify the music I put up as Baroque and Romantic. you fail.

Well that certainly explains this then; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cello_Sonata_(Chopin)

I know very fucking well that's how they should be classified, but you specifically said

So I was helping you find some alternative ways to say it. Take a deep breathe and relax sometimes for christ's sake.

LOL and you say that all of the peices were meant to be played with a symphony. Another thing you are wrong about.

You insulted me firts by callin me failtonic, then called me uneducated. Clearly you had no idea what you were talking about. Also you said you "were trying to spread correct information". And then went along to spread incorrect information. Maybe you should take your own advice and take a deep breath and relax.

I didn't call you uneducated, I just called myself educated, which is the truth. College degree = educated.

And once again, I wasn't spreading misinformation. I was trying to HELP YOU find alternative ways to phrase the genre since you SPECIFICALLY said you didn't want to call it a "baroque and romantic" thread. I'm sorry that you love to nitpick so much, If you don't want to call it that then there are clearly no alternatives, but I was trying to suggest other things to call the music.

You think a college degree means you are educated? LOL. I'm letting this go now, but know that you did say some things that were wrong. Namely that all those peices were meant to be played with a symphony.
