been looking at some threads on ICmag for DIY flipflops. Thinking of making one(or two) for my flowering tents.
If anyone has or is interested we can discuss flaws of builds and practicalities of each. I don't know how useful I'll be as I don't know much about DIY electronics.

Yes.. but..
Most people use flipflops to alternate between two hoods/bulbs on the same ballast which are on a timer. Some people do it between two rooms flowering @ 12/12 periods so one is on half the day the other the other half. Some use these to cover more space having them switch between 2 hoods spaced slightly apart every hour which covers more area with less wattage (similar effect as a light mover, without having your ceiling crawl with electronics and installing a rail)
I plan to use mine to alternate between two flowering areas.
yea...i also want to add this to my box im working on
have the lower security lamp flip on for 6 hours and then flip the current to the bulb up higher at the top and flip different cfls on and off to help control heat...and flip between my 2 osc. fans and flip my pc fans on and off
i wont be able to do it before flowering this one but this is a test run to see EXACTLY what i need to do
they are very aimple and valuable ive just never wired one
if you arent good with electricity dont go touching it...ive electrocuted myself twice...its no fun
