Well the thing is. This place is paying for my doctors visit so I only have to pay the state fee and get it noterized for $5. But I have to sign them over as my caregiver, at least I am getting something out of it, a free 1/8 at sign up and a free 1/8 every month. That doesn't mean I cant change it down the line to someone more worthy of the extra 6 plants, who would be willing to cut a more fair share out of the harvest

Not really bro. I know people who you sign them over as your caregiver and you get 50% of every harvest, if they know what there doing 50% of 6 plants can be a lot. The only reason I went with someone in Boulder instead of Denver is because there is a huge difference in MMJ. Boulder > Denver when it comes to herb. My friend came over after getting his, had some really really fruity herb and gave me their card. No medical records, no doctor fee, free Boulder herb.. Couldn't get better than that.

The deal I gave my patients was a free 1/2oz at harvest time of their choice of strain. Then, since I actually see my patients on a regular basis they end up with way more than that because I give them about an 8th every now and then just cause I feel like it.

I know, just saying there are better deals out there, and with the better deals there are people who are just after your caregiver status and don't have any intent on giving anything to you. They didn't tell me over the phone about any contract. They just said I had to sign them over, I am writing a bunch of questions up to ask on Saturday

I can smoke more than an 1/8th a day, but that doesnt mean that its not a good deal. Free weed is always a good deal. there was nothing to not know about.

nope, people without their med card still be caregivers. I would have done that but I wanted to grow legally and none of my lazy ass friends were going to get theirs so I just said fuck it and shelled out the cash.

let's say, hypothetically of course, that I rented an apartment in CO. what other anchors would i have to drop in order to obtain a card? or could i do it without getting an apartment. is the weed worth it? I haven't seen much of the shit that the CO dispensaries sell.

depends on your dispensary. Some of them sell the shitty weed that the growers don't want to keep for their headstash, but some of them have incredibly nice stuff, but for a rather premium price.
however, legally growing is far more awesome than that so that's what I do. I used to go to the clubs all the time but my shit is higher quality, and waaaay cheaper
I think you have to be a colorado resident though, they require a color photocopy of your colorado ID when you apply for the card

It depends on where you go and who you know and what part of CO your in. There can be some fucking dank shit around here. A lot of dispensaries in my opinion don't know their shit. Im the exact opposite of Harry. All my friends have there card and I don't but they always get me bud from dispensaries and sometimes I feel it could be better. I have gotten bud from dispensaries in Boulder and the bud is   . Some of the places in Denver have good bud but you still end up paying 50 + tax a eighth.
In my opinion its better to get your license so you can just grow your own, and try and get people to sign you over as their caregiver because for every person you have you can grow 6 more plants legally. Dispensaries are only there to get clones and mothers of new strains from. You can even sell your bud to them for $900 a 1/4 lb if its bomb. Sometimes $1000.
Just my 2 cents. I don't know why I have waited this long to get it but whatever I am getting it this weekend and getting it over with. More so since there is a scare of law reform in the midst of people who want their MMJ cards still. Cali had the same thing but it didn't fly and that's what I think will happen here, but just to be safe I am getting it now.
I'm pretty sure you have to be a resident of CO too, and you need a address because they mail your card to you.

I hope every state will eventually change their stupid pointless laws regulating something that obviously cant be regulated.
Honestly though, I don't think Texas will ever change but that's why all you guys living down there should move here or move to a MMJ state and get legalized, for the first time in years I feel like I am free..
You want to know the crazy part? I have friends on probation who used to smoke, apparently you can get a medical card and legally smoke on probation and they can't extend your sentence because of it.

Its not me, it was my best friend who used to slang. There were constant problems with the neighbors, the guy who she was housing came over with his girl, they smoked a joint and didn't open a window the smell permeated in the apartment complex, they called the cops for like the 3rd time on her, she came home from work shortly after, 6 of them mommy fuckers showed up at the door and searched her place. The dumb fucks didn't even know what a grinder was.
She spent a night in jail and got 2 years probation, her PO told her that if she got a license she could smoke, but she shouldn't because she would "relapse" (her PO think she is addicted to weed, like its crack lol) So here she is, almost off supervised probation and she got her card last week and it makes her want to smoke even worse lol.
I tell her to just wait it out just in case they try to fuck her over again, but I guess you can smoke with a medical card if you are on probation.
Kind of a random story but whatever.

She didn't know she had just gotten home from work, and the smell of weed in the hall is probable cause to search the home, more so when she has be suspected of selling weed.
I remember the last time the cops showed up before that they knocked on the door, they even asked her "Your not selling drugs, are you?" Who the fuck would say yes to that question lol.

I heard about it, but I am just happy to have my license. They recommended edible stuff anyways. I just need to get some of my friends caregiver rights.

Chronic back pain from dirt jumping on my bike and landing on my back.. But when I went in and said that he looked at the paper work and he looked at where I had surgery on my ankle for breaking the bone completely off and needing to get it pinned down. He goes; "I can sign you off for your back or I can definitely sign you off for your ankle." I went with my back but if you have had a surgery procedure and you have pain from it you can claim it as your condition easy.

Chrons is a form of IBD, a paticulary bad one.
My IBS and IBD just sucks becuase of naseua and a lot of bahtroom time, but I am hoping the card will hit two birds with one stoned. Pun intended. I hope it's good for my anxiety and headaches and ocd.

Yeah pretty much if its something crazy and you need medicine to help you sleep or function then a doc will right you a recommendation for it. One of my friends got a doctor recommendation for his eyes because he has to wear contacts and they hurt, somehow he had medical records for it but the doc wrote him off for it.. I kid you not.
Remember most people want to get you your license.
