Plant Emergency!!!

My friend has a nice plant growing in its budding stage but there is now no electricity in the house!!! He doesn't know when it will be turned back on. So what should he do? He cant really bring it outside. help!

yea it sucks bad... We would take it ouside but it has been raining non stop. plus there really is no place to put this monster plant. So right now, all the light it's getting is from the one window... It gets a nice amount of sunshine but its still probably not enough. Could this be it for the plant?!?

Its a wierd situation, I dont think it would die... But I also dont think tis getting the right photoperiod from the window seeing how its spring (here atleast) Someone else here will be more informative for u im sure.

my friend wanted to kill it to get the nugs but I talked him out of it. It still has a fighting chance. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the advice

Thing is I dont know how accurate my opinions are, id suggest waiting for someone with more exp to answer your questions about the window light. And Im sure telling us what zone your in so we know what photoperiod u have might help.

How long has it been in the flowering state?
If you're getting sufficient light from the window and the only concern is the photoperiod, you could simply move it back into darkness after it has had as much as it needs for the day..

here's the deal regarding fucked up photo periods and MJ. You are much much much better off having dark when the light should be on then vice versa. Let you plants sit, if the power comes back on and it comes back on during the light cycle of 12/12 let it run. If it comes back on during the dark cycle DO NOT TURN THE LIGHTS ON. Let your plants sit in the dark until they reach the light cycle again.
It's never a good thing to fuck with the photoperiods but you're much better off with more dark then more light. However if he doesn't get this sorted in at least 3 days, harvest em and look into buying a generator if this type of thing happens often.

Leave it in the dark until the power is back on so you don't fuck with its photo period. It'll survive five or six days but be a bit sad by then I think. I know I originally said three days but cannabis is pretty tough, it'll be interesting to see how it goes.
It'll probably start going white from lack of chlorophyll and keep the light a few feet away from it when you get the power back on or you'll probably burn the plant. (if you're using a HID).
