Whos gonna watch the opening ceremony tonight? It starts pretty soon. Also what are you looking forward to watching the most? I'm looking forward to watching snowboarding, skiing, hockey, curling, and speed skating.

Pretty soon here I think less than an hour. Its on NBC, so I'm gonna watch it with my buddies while drinking. And making fun of Canadians and all the other countries. I'm not sure exactly when it starts though.

Also I don't know if you guys heard but some guy from Georgia (the country) died earlier today while he was going down on the luge. Pretty fucked up shit. They showed it on the news, he was going like 95 MPH and crashed into a metal pole. Apparently that track is the fastest one in the world.

yeah i was wanting to see what kind of tribute they do for him. it's a damn shame. was this his first olympics? i read a few articles about it but didn't see that.

Yeah, and they kept saying "he was inexperienced" and shit. I was like "he made it to the olympics, I dont think he was that inexperienced". Kinda made me angry at the anouncers, they should just talk him up no matter what.

I'll be watching the opening ceremony, after than Snowboarding, Skiing and hockey. Thats it... might go over a chica's house and watch ice skating if it leads to sex.

well he had to have fucked up to have that happen, right? Lots of other lugers made it through that last turn. nytimes.com has a cool graphic of the course.

Actually a lot of them crashed, just not as bad. I just found it frusterating that they were basically insulting him after he died.

yeah, i didnt say there weren't crash and burns but the majority of the athletes got through it. some could view it as survival of the fittest. i am not sure if i am one of those people.

I kind of like all the stuff. I always fig I'm gonna hate the fig skating then the Asians have these fine little ladies zipping around next thing ya know I'm watching.
