is that 26w daylight color temp?

do it by lumens, think u need like 3k lumens per sq ft for good results, one 26 w cfl gives out like 1500 lumens, so do the math since ur sposed to be good at it :p

but with my very limited experience it seems that tubes work better, they give off less heat and more light, the downside is that theyre bulky, i had a few plants tried to continue vegging under 2 26w cfls while switching the others to flower, and the ones vegging under cfls started feeling kinda shitty.....but this is only my first grow...i'm probably stupid for not using a HPS for flowering lol.

infra red cameras detect heat through anything, they can spot grow houses from the sky, and look for heat leaks from the ground, they did it on that DEA show that used to be on....probably not a problem for a small grow tho

they detect heat on the outside of the house not what's on the inside.  a well insulated interior room can easily be hidden.

Thank u I was going to tell him what he seen on DEA was them finding the exhaust trail not the 15 or 20 lights that was in that dudes basement. Not to memtion the only reason they were looking was because dude was using illegal elec.
