BONNAROO 2010
    #361845 - 02/10/10 06:17 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

Anyone planning on going this year? I'm volunteering with a couple friends of mine. I volunteered in 09 and it was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had.  70,000 people(really interesting people and good vibes), awesome music and tons of drugs. If anyone wants some tips or wants to meet up and chill let me know. They are slowly releasing the lineup as of yesterday around noon.  And also, volunteer is the way to go, you just have to make a deposit ($250 last year, not sure what it will be this year) but you get refunded and you get awesome privileges. From what i've seen so far it's finna be crazy again this year. So psyched! i cant wait til june :omgawesome:

Here is a link to the volunteer page:
http://www.bonnaroo.com/info/volunteer-info.aspx
edit: posted the wrong link, props to mel_lonta_toda for the correct link

Its really simple to sign up, u just fill out a form online. It's not guaranteed, last year they selected about 300 volunteers i think.  The sooner you sign up the better.

Yeah true, but Hov isn't in his prime anymore heh. Neither is Nas but he's one of my favorite rappers.  Last year that had 3 six mafia or some other shitty rap group and they were terrible live.

Haha nope, last year we were smoking weed at our campsite and some of the volunteer leaders didnt give two-shits. They are really laid back people and me and my friend had no problem bringing some weed and some other good shit in.

too mainstream & too many undercovers from what i hear (at 'roo).    but i'd go, given i had the right crew/money and also seeing that i've yet to attend a festie.

i also heard from the grapevine that paul mccartney was going to be there.  i could be wrong though...  but it'd be sweet to hear his Fireman stuff live

Yeah i'll agree they do have a lot of mainstream stuff but they usually have a pretty good underground selection. sound tribe sector nine was there last year thats pretty underground imo.

As for undercovers tho, you just have to watch out for the obvious signs. If your just bringing your own stuff in you had nothing to worry about. Sounds crazy but people were walking around yelling "where my nugs?" and "i got molly" etc. Dealing was everywhere and out in the open, except at Centeroo where the stages were (they check your bags). People were smoking weed in broad daylight and only dealers really had anything to worry about.
