a cop trailed us on hwy 24 then pulled off because some other guys were getting busted
real police were picking out cars at random to search in the entrance where the bonnaroo staff look over your car and ask you if you have any glass- i saw the real cops making these guys open their tents and all that shit right next to where the bonnaroo staff 'searched' our car
the AP reported that 'hundreds' of drug citations were issued at the festival- and believe me, you don't wanna be coming back to TN to deal with that problem
it's still fun, you can still blaze up in the crowds, the chicks are still dancing in bikinis, some bands are good- some suck-- but goddamn... i really think i'm done with it

That sucks, seems like it was only a matter of time before they started to crack down. Once things become main stream enough to attract good bands and the media, then you are going to have problems with the bacon badges.
Ive never been one to go to those big "pro marijuana," rallies. Not because I dont support the causes but they always seem to draw more and more law enforcement attention each year

I have a buddy who went. I was supposed to go with him, but I didn't wanna pay stupid amounts of money to get it, and I didn't know how easy/hard it was to sneak in.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head. Why should that mean it isn't real?

in my opinion,
waka, and electric forest festival are pretty tight. waka for the line up and EFF for the set and setting.
the hangout for being a short festival had a dope ass lineup. electric zoo festival looked good.
and i mean allgood and burning man would be tight, im sure.

I think it would be really easy to sneak in. I mean, it's a huge outdoor festival. There's got to be fences or something. Just wait until late at night and find a weakness in the parameter.

Well, maybe, you definitely could get into the campsite but it would be much harder to sneak in gear. Then everytime you wanted to get into 'Centeroo' where the bands play you would have sneak past another barrier that's much more heavily guarded. Then on your way out you're supposed to click your wrist 'rfid' through a detector or something. Maybe that last part doesn't matter but staying in that center area for a real long time gets fucking uncomfortable and sneaking in and out everytime would be a bitch and if you had a joint in your pocket it would probably equal jail if you got caught. I just don't know.

Ive never been to roo' so I cant really speak on how their security is, I was just guessing since it was a large campsite that there would be somewhat easy ways to get in

This is why I don't attend the bigger festivals...All the stories I hear, from the nitrous mafia to cops being on the actual festival grounds to peoples shit getting stolen, all that just sketches me out .
