Im currently thinking about starting a small operation in my attic. Its pretty short, but runs the length of the house. It has a triangular profile and at the top is about 3 feet. I'm thinking to get about 10-15 clones, veg them until about 1ft tall and flower. Obviously the largest concern for this is going to be heat and IR. the roof is uninsulated. I'm looking to run atleast a 400w of either CFL, Fluorescent, or maybe even LED. Would mylar and a small fan be enough to disperse the heat or are my chances of IR just too risky? Any help on this style operation would be much appreciated!

I would fill that long space up with a SOG or SCROG style grow.
3ft is not much room with a HID light and 1' tall plants that are going to SHOOT up and hit the lights come flower.
My 2cents.
