Ive seen alot of bad reviews for Six Feet Under, but I believe its mostly from meatheaded death metalheads. For real if you have a taste for metal and pot mixed with some blood guts and gore, give'em a listen. Im sure everyone knows SFU's lead singer Chris Barnes used to front Cannibal Corpse, in my opinion CC was better with Chris, but they dont suck by any means.
I like the fact that Barnes could step away from a band that was obviously talented for a more "listenable" band. I love the groove that they lay down on their tracks.
If you would like to check em out, give 4:20, Feasting on the blood of the insane, and one bullet left. One bullet left has Ice-T singing a verse and chorus in the song.
Now since this is the growery, what do you guys think of a stoner death metal band like SFU. There are alot of great stoner rock bands out there, but I havent found one that can infuse death metal with a peaceful plant. Also use the space to suggest some decent "stoner" bands. Try to shy away from bands like slightly stoopid, sublime, and any of the Marley sons.
Also SFU is a really simple band musically when compared to that of cannibal corpse. To most people that would be a bad thing, but honestly CC has gotten so technical that their music is hardly listenable, much less enjoyable.

I swear they are a weed oriented band,lol, its just the death metal way I guess.
I would post Mp3s of the songs but honestly I have no clue as to how to go about doing it.
If you search on youtube you can find pretty much every song I have named off.
If you like early cannibal corpse and heavy groove metal then youd love this band dude.
I figured this post would be more alive, I guess there really isnt alot of people thats heard of Six Feet Under.

I like CC but I just dont enjoy them like I did when I first got Tomb Of The Mutilated or The Bleeding. Last CC album I got was evisoration(sp?) plague. It was ok but really it only has about 3 or 4 songs I can listen to without getting too bored. Wretched Spawn sucked ass, as well as KILL. Gallery of Suicides was cool, but they just dont care about the sound as much anymore. Its just a race to the end of the song in my opinion.

Yeah dude, To be honest Alex is the only one I respect. He knows his instrument through theory and physical. Its amazing how he can blister thru on a bass and then be so modest about his talent. Dudes got skills.
