Small Grow Chamber?

Could a small tote be used with a few floro lights?
I have this idea but IDK if it will work..
Say if you have a good strain but only 10 seeds. You want to get a male and a female to make a lot of seeds so you dont run out.
Could you put the plants in a small tote to grow them like 6-12" and then flower them to get seeds? Would this smell AT ALL? Im aware that a carbon filter could be made but would just a tote work?
Also, how would you hook up lights to the tub? What about fresh air?

Well, for FAE you could use computer fans. Just cut out holes in the box and install those in the holes. To mount the Flouros you could use adhesive or cut holes to loop chains to hold it up.
And this could definitely work, you could flower the plants almost right off the bat as well. That way they wont get to big on ya in there.
Not the most ideal situation for it. But feasible.

feasible is all that would be need. Just a very basic chamber for seeds producing.
Once seeds are made...
Could you clone the female plant and have some kick ass sensimilla? Or would the female most likely be a hermie?
what kind of rig would be best for lights? Im thinking monotub size, so maybe 2-3 lights?

Well, once their seeded I would think it would be a little too late to start trying to clone off of the plant. You would want to do that before you put them into flowering, optimally. You can clone during flowering, but not that late I don't think.

alright well thats not a problem, doing this should ensure plenty of seeds. Would just save time to be able to clone at that stage.

Well, then why don't you just grow out the females and then clone them. Instead of a bunch of seeds. Just make the small chamber a mother box.

I dont plan on having a crop year round. This is why producing seeds is a big deal. Its crap paying over $70 for 10 seeds. Doing this I can turn that 10 seeds into hundreds.
Once I get tons of seeds then I will grow out a mother and clone it.

Okay, have you ordered your seeds yet?? If not do a little research first and make sure that they are F1 hybrids. This will mean that they both parents are true breeding plants. Their off spring/seeds will be more vigorous growers and over all healthier plants.

To know if it's an F1 you need to email the company and ask.

I'm not saying that you can't get good pot from them if they aren't. But if your putting out good money, I try to make sure that they are.

You don't want F1's (filial generation 1) for this kind of project you want IBLs (in-bred lines). An F1 is the product of two IBL lines and they are ideal for growers because of "hybrid vigor" just like Hawk said; IBL's on the other hand have been crossed with themselves for so long that, ideally, there is only one genotype the plants can express.
The outcome of this for IBLs will be seeds that behave just like the seeds you bought and paid a lot of money for. The results when using F1's will be seeds that have FAR more variation in genotype than the seeds you originally paid for and they will be F2s.
That said, its moot if you already bought them, lol.
But back to the original question, it is very feasible but do be concerned about smell. Plants in flower produce odor, period.
