WTF? So i coulda just claimed it? Or when i came to claim it; would i have then been thrown in jail like them? How do the cops get to legally "auction off" property that was obv taken from ones possession. Isnt that theft or did we change that law?
Its one thing to hold for evidence; or even destroy since it was "Drug Money"... but put out for others to claim? And then THE COPS... get to keep it?!? Doesnt even go to the town... bullshit

How stupid are these two guys though. They have close to a million dollars in their car and they're making illegal turns. Just fucking stupid. It's like the guys that traffic a hundred pounds of pot and have a tail light out, your just asking to get busted.

nothing new. very sad. I'm starting to think this drug war is not as much a war on drugs anymore but an excuse to take peoples shit. i have seen them take TVs, stereos to cars for what? profit not to fight drugs

cops came to my school with this new machine (15 years ago) that could test residue and out of the 5 bill they took from students and tested 3 came back positive for coke or weed. we kept our money and I'm sure if you test money in the cops wallet it would have stuff on it too.

That's an incredible force we are up against. Money is a terrible motivator on so many sides of this issue.
