 flushing solutions

I use a flood and drain setup and up to this point ive always flushed my girls with tap water till the water coming out of the bucket was clear, let it sit a day in the tray, flush with purified, sit for a few hours then cut. the guy at my local hydro store recommended using a flushing solution instead. Anyone have input on these solutions good/bad?

Plain water is fine the reason I like the flora kleen is that it helps clean the inside of the hoses and removes the salt deposits that can form.

O really? thats great! then ill have to get this solution sometime in the future.
Why not just clean your hoses prior to flushing it? That's easy enough for me to do with only growing a few plants.
