 Exciting night

Damn, I was watching a movie and all the power went out.
I looked outside and I saw flashing lights. I thought it was the cops.
I ran around trying to find my cloths, finally got dressed, and went outside.
Turns out a power substation just blew up. I seen a huge fire it was ridiculous.
I thought I was going to jail...
Power just came back on it took an hour and 1 minute.
It was crazy cause I just moved into the neighborhood about 2 months ago and really haven't met all my neighbors yet.
It was like a camp out or something. Everyone was outside curious, wondering what was going on.
Met a ton of new neighbors.
I had one of those rechargeable halogen spot lights so I was like the king dick.
Half the people where running around with candles and shit. Didn't even have flashlights, like we where in the 1800's or some shit.
It even started snowing. It's crazy how excited I am from this. I need to get a fucking life...
Once the power came back on I had a weird feeling. It was so peaceful with no power.
At least my plants didn't go without light for too long. That was really my only concern.
My mom really got on my nerves telling everyone I was freaking out thinking the cops where outside to get me.
That's something she didn't have to keep bringing up to every new neighbor that popped out to see what was going on.
She's starting to outlive her welcome. She canceled her flight back to Florida to visit with me longer...

Seems like you might need to start cutting down telephone poles more often. Just send your mom packin saying you got it covered from here, lol.
