Im not sure if this is the right place to post this...but ill let the moderators deal with that if need be.
But, I wanted to hear some stories about run ins with the law and your grow op. Hopefully we can all learn and take something away from this thread (learning from others mistakes). Even the tightest and most secure grow op can be thwarted by a freak accident or random occurrence.
plus i think it would be cool just to hear some crazy shit from people...

Don't let your ex's know ya grow. My ex wife got me in the early 90's. Turned me in to get her ass out of trouble and it seemed to have worked. On the other hand I did 3 years.

Magash is a martyr. I'm really happy that i can't really contribute to this thread. I've been arrested 2x for possession. Second time was a felony. I thought i was going to lose my scholarships and be sent to live on the streets. everything worked out.

Good thing they worked out FB! and that sucks to you did time Magash. But you live and you learn. I was fortunate to walk away clean from my only drug offense

Like everyone one here said keep your mouth shut, and dont tell ANYBODY about it. I was one of the lucky ones and walked away with a drug charge but I got it dropped after being on probation for six months and not fuckin up.

I think outdoor growers have it easy as long as its public property and not your own. Then you can just claim you were looking at the strange looking plant. Unless you are picking dem budz.

This is true up to a point. If you do manage to get busted on public land the penalty is much more severe. Public land is considered federal land so now you get the fun of having federal charges. In federal court since they don't recognize the med cards you can't even bring up medical marijuana.

I dont understand how places like Mendicino County, CA aren't rounded up and cracked down hard by the feds (under federal law). Regardless of the state or county laws passed, wouldn't federal law take precedence over any local statutes?
I was watching that "Marijuana Inc" documentary on CNBC. And they said in Mendicino County you can grow up to 6 plants for "medical or recreational use." It cant be that easy....

67% of the people in the county are growers. Bust all the growers and all the businesses go with em. Who buys the goods from the stores in those towns in Mendocino? The drug stores sell bud trimming scissors.
