Losing a loved one
    #28847 - 05/13/08 08:43 PM (15 years, 10 months ago)

Luckily I have never had to deal with this real close to my family. But finally it has come that time with my grandfather. He has had lucema now for a couple of years and has become terminally ill. They have been doing blood transfusions to keep him feeling alright and keep him alive for awhile along with the heavy pain killers. I am glad my mother made it back to the motherland to see him one last time.

I just picked him up a birthday card and was at a loss as to what to say. It sure is sad to watch a loved one slowly fade away as his days are numbered. I hope he makes it the 3 weeks until his birthday. Live on Gramps Terry

he has and he was a great man serving his country for 7 years and being a father of 2 daughters

when I talk to him im always sure to ask if the doctors are keeping him comfortable. thats all I can ask at this point. Its very hard to talk to someone when both people know there isnt much time left

that cant be easy. My grandfather remarried and I only met his new wife a handful of times. Its sometimes hard being separated from family by the ocean I rarely get to see anyone outside of my immediate family.

Damn I am having a hard enough time with my grandfather. Even as a 20 year old man I dont know what I would do if I lost my mother. Shes the one person who has always been here for me. Through thick and thin and always been willing to give me a second and third chance

Did you atleast have your father growing up?

nope, my dad was really never around either. he was too busy working 2 jobs all the time. so it's understandable. plus since he re-married he doesn't really give a shit about me. he's got a new family to care for now

Damn man Im really sorry to hear that. I grew up in a single-parent family but fortunately my mom worked very hard to provide the best she could for us and has done a damn fine just if I can say so. I dont always make the best decisions regarding my own decisions but I do feel I am a very morally sensitive person and a good guy.

Step-relatives blow anyways I have plenty of them, not a single one of them is cool

yeah my step mom is a biaaaatch. the last time i saw my dad was when he was with her. she pretty much bitched me out on how much i suck and shit and he just stood there looking away trying to focus on something else.

i find it funny that her son (my step brother) was never able to get into the states from the phillipines because he kept failing his drug tests. he couldn't stay off the mary jane. haha

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.
