A buddy of mine told me he puts his MJ in the freezer to keep it fresh. I was just curious if this can make it loose potency or anything? Thanks.

Not sure. I would think that temperature fluctuations would cause some amount of degrading. I keep it in my fridge to keep it fresh, but in my freezer for storage.

Will definitely help preserve potency. Just make sure the herb is stored in an air-tight container and won't get shaken around while frozen.

I heard putting it in the freezer freezes all the trichomes which eventually just fall off, causing the nug to lose potency.
Is this just hearsay? Or does it have some scientific backbone?

well in bubble hash teks people say to freeze your plant matter first, I dont remember why though, but I guess its to get the trichomes off easier ?
