I have never attempted to order any seeds. I am concerned on where to begin. Does anyone have a site that is used regularly with good results? I am a total noob when it comes to this. Each breeder seems to have different names for the same hybrids. I'm interested in hearing what you guys have experienced as far as reputable breeders go. I know it's a roll of the dice either way when you order...but i would like to have some confidence in knowing if i will actually get what i order (if it makes it here).

also check out Seedboutique. That one is my favorite, and as I've said here before, they have breeders there that nobody else has available.
So far (knock wood) I have had 100% success with them, and their customer service is tops.

thanks for the quick feed back. I am yet to read any bad info on seed boutique thus far. I think they will be my choice...and since you have had luck i will trust your word. ( I won't hold it to ya if something goes wrong haha haha) I do have a few more questions though....
1. what is the preferred method of payment? I was thinking of buying a visa gift card and just putting some cash on it...so things are as discrete as possible. What do you think?
2. So what type of packaging should I expect to receive?
3. How long is the typical waiting period once the order is placed?
Any insight would help me out tons! thanks 81 renaissance!

BTW, is this your first grow ?
if it is I would just use some bagseed,
only way I would ever suggest a first time grower buy crazy expensive seeds is if you need certain genetics for your limited growing conditions, like needing a crazy short plant or one that dosent smell much
but if you are going to spend like $100 on some seeds i hope you have the time and money to make the grow worth it

Pick up some Mandala seeds if it is your first grow, I think they still have SATORI available and it'll only cost you 20 bucks...less than a sack off the street to get bagseed from, and much better quality.
That Visa gift card idea is what I would recommend, but make sure you put enough on it to cover the currency exchange fees and the shipping if you're in the U.S. (So if you buy $20 seeds, load the card with $30)
From the time you process your payment 7-10 days is about standard to the U.S. and it will come in a Tyvek envelope folded in half so as to look like a standard envelope and it will have an "aeropostale" stamp on it in blue.

nope not first grow..always grown local stuff really...or what ever is kickin around for good clones in the spring time. I have done ak 47 once..any other time I never really asked..i only cared if the plants were sexed.
I am an outdoor guy...so I am thinking about some northern light crosses...grow season is short where i am on the north east coast.
I was thinking about keeping it cheap. Just one or two 5 packs. I am looking for good strong indica dom strains. nobody important..you mentioned bagseed...??? I am not familiar with bag seed. Could you please fill me in? Thanks!
One more noob question...
when i get to the main page on seed boutique..i click on the breeders listed in the "cannabis list" right? I am having trouble telling which is sativa or indica dominant..i have little knowledge when it comes to the different names.

It won't overtly tell you which it is. You'll have to do some research.
For a great indica I'd say click on Tom Hill Seeds and buy Deep Chunk.
Really good price for that strain IMO.

I'm here to stay. This site is the shit. . it's such a relief to be able to get reliable information from people who actually "practice what they preach"..and to think all this time i have been roughing it on my own...and i could have had sooooo many questions answered years ago..hah
