I would imagine its possible but I'm not sure how high the risk of contamination is....
Aren't you signed up at the shroomery also? you'd probably get a more accurate and faster answer over there.

PF jars usually contain a top layer of verm for contamination protection. You would have to get the myc on the agar down onto the sides down farther like where the spores drain down to when you inject with a needle. You can do the same thing with a print. How many isolations did you do?

10xisolated eq theyre sooooo rhizomorphic and theyres already alot of colonization i used a gloveboxto prevent contam i used the top layer only on the jars i innoculated iam no newb just didnt know much about growing from agar just fucked with it for a while till i got theses ill post pix in a min..

ima wait and post all at once...and another question i used red seaweed flakes as the medium and I also kncked up a LC with the same Iso...do you think after re hydration the flakes would turn red again cuz there is red flakes in it but the jars are growing fine and i did under the same sterile conditions.

oh ok. That is something I am not sure of. Better to ask the advanced mycology ppls. Here's an experiement I started a few years ago. I didn't fruit it though. Maybe I should try it again.

The best way to use an agar wedge in a PF Tek style jar is to change the dry verm filter for micropore tape on top of the jar. Lots of people do it this way to test their isolates.
