They spent countless hours in a lab devising how they can turn that food into pulp, pump it full of synthetic products, and reconstitute it into something resembling food again.

They design "food" to hit your palette with a specific formula of tastes to fool your brain into thinking that what's in your mouth is actually nutritious. Burger meat is reconstituted and pumped full of msg to pour down your throat with minimal chewing and to make you think the thing tastes better than it really should.

I ate nothing but fast food for several years especially during times living out of my car and the effects definitely catch up with you. All of our food is pumped full of chemicals our entire lives and we wonder why 12 year olds get diabetes.

I try and eat real food these days and yeah it's not as easy but at least I'm not developing black rubbery deposits of gunk in my body that sit there forever because our systems were never meant to deal with this synthetic bullshit.
