have fun, just remember to respect those things...they are pretty fucking addicting. Pod withdrawals are the worst to, they last much longer than heroin/oxy withdrawal. Just be smart about it, I know way too many people who are slaves to pods.

I am fortunate to never really develop opiate addiction. Im a marijuana slave much more. I usually get pods several times per year and never really get the urge to use more frequently.

I will be safe though :heart:

just boil some water and drop some powdered pods into the water to steep. Usually about 1/3 cup of powdered pods for 1 cup of water for a solid dose for low tolerance.

That damages active alkaloids, though. But I have boiled it down to tar so that I could attempt smoking the tea putty. Wasn't bad.

what is your method for making tea?

Im thinking about going out and getting tea bags tomorrow and emptying them and refilling with poppy pod powder and using it as a normal tea bag, just let it steep for much longer, say 20 minutes

In the past I've done it pretty much like you described. But I've heard that it's actually more effective to just use cold water, so next time I'll probably just toss the pods in a blended with water, blend for a few minutes, and strain.

I dont think there is really an improper way to store poppy pods. I keep mine in a sealed ziplock baggie already in a powder form so I can just scoop out what I need and get the brewing.
