I dont see why those are going for 500 each.. Anyone who can blow glass spoons could pop one of those out in no time. Just make glass beads, melt them together then run them through the kiln then tape off the parts they want shiny and run them through a sand blaster that is full of glass beeds to make the matte finish on the bumps..

It's not about the value really it's more of a gift item for donating $500.
Erowid runs those kind of things all the time where some valuable pieces of legendary drug culture memorabilia or something like blotter art signed by Hofmann or Leary, or autographed pictures of Shulgin's lab are sold off and the proceeds go to furthering the website and it's goals.
Different rewards for different brackets of donations.. you could get a t-shirt, a mug, a glass molecule, or Albert Hofmann's own handwriting if your pocket book was deep enough.

honestly - if i had some spare cash which i don't at the time, i'd totally donate
erowid is great. spreading unbiased information about drugs, which is a hard thing to find these days.
they are doing a great service to us, and anyone else who may be interested.
