Hello everybody!
I want to grow White Widow in soil and i have a little problem with the light! i want to use Compact Fluorescent Integrate (Ecologic light) for germination and vegetative stage and this bulb have 6500k.
For the flowering stage i want 100w HPS that have around 2000k. It is a small grow-room and i can't use high voltage bulbs. I want some opinions if it's bad or not. And which soil-mix is the best? Can i replace vermiculite with coco-peat? The clay balls are good if they are mix in the soil as replacement for perlite?

as long as you have good ventilation you can use more watts.....

I know, in one of my old grow rooms the temperature drop with 20 degrees Celsius because of fans(without fans the temp was around 55 degrees), but here will be no fan, just one inside. Like i said, is a small grow-room.

Small or not, won't the air inside need to be refreshed? Also, even a 100W HPS will put off some heat, and in a small room...

Your going to have to have some kind of air exchange i a small closet. I don't see any dimensions for the space of your closet?
Soil Imo, can be alot of things as long as it has good drainage. I have used dirt from outside to potting soils bought at walmart. I think it is a thing of preference mostly. Drainage, and root support are what u need in a soil. Why are you not using the typical soil mixtures of vermiculite and perlite?
