ok so im kinda confused,can some one give me a straight up answer as to what the most potent bud is, a sativa or indica. i ask because ive read that sativas have higher thc. but ive also read that the highest thc counts have come from indicas

Hey man, welcome to the growery! To answer your question it really just depends on what you consider "potent" I would like to refer you to my thread on this on the main site. here but back to your question. Indica has a higher CBD content than THC which equals a more "sleepy, couchlock" type of high while sativas have a higher THC content which means its more of a "head high". Both can be potent as hell but again its really just a matter of opinion. If you ask me Indica is more potent but im sure that other people with disagree with me haha. Afganica is really potent as well. I suggest growing both and trying them out for yourself.      Peace.

I agree with Trip. Potency is not just an objective measurement of active chemicals, its also subjective based on the user, and of course set and setting much like other drugs.
As a counterpoint to Triptonic I'd offer SensiSeeds Jack Herer which is ALL Sativa, and I've never smoked anything I consider more potent...like a damn roller coaster ride!
For Indica potency check out Mr. Nice Seeds Medicine Man (the ORIGINAL White Rhino).
