Okay, I'm gonna be going low budget for a while-moving from ebb and flow with hids to organic with cfls. Decided to get some clones started of new local strain which i have just started to flower(day8) and low and behold KNATS! the previous 2 and a half weeks they were non existant!!!! never see the fuckers inside before! I threw bout an inch to inch and a half of perlite on top to hopefully smother them out. Things looked good the last couple days, until i went to water-and i seen only god knows how many crawl there way up otta the perlite!!! they seem to back with strength in numbers!!So as i have no experience with knats i'd like to know how i can rid those suckers! dont want em infesting my final dro harvest which is bout 3 weeks away!

agreed, make sure its food grade DE and you'll be good to go. It acts like microscopic razor blades on the gnats.
