What do you all do for rules when it comes to hitting the ol' mean green?

A bong is for personal use for me. I don't share my bong hits unless a single friend drops by or its the last of my bud - but i wouldn't waste the last of my bud in a bong. I guess what im saying is that I'd smoke a bowl with the bong then reload it and pass it. But basically we used to go by the same thing in most of my pot smoking circles.

I also don't have a large group of people I smoke with, it is usually just me and someone else, maybe a couple more people.
I have seemed to scare away some friends with my brownies, they have like sworn off weed...

I recently noticed on two TV shows, Six Feet Under and Sopranos, that they passed along a smoking bong. I was thinking what the fuck, you gotta clear that fucking bong hit, don't you? I mean, I never saw anything besides loading the weed, lighting it up, clearing and bowl and sucking down all the smoke even it fucking just about kills you. Not clearing a bong hit? WTF? Do any of yall do that?

lighters are not allowed in my dwelling 
dont fuck around with the 420 stik cuz ull get burned
(wouldn't be the first time its happened)
bubblers and pipes are not worth it it my dwelling, only the big bong or the volcano, or blunts

yea the people i usually smoke with usually take big ass rips and hold it in, ive seen sum people take 2 small hits and pass..
everyone i smoke with are campers and no one really gives a shit because we gunna be high soon anyways... and if its ur weed u take as many hits as you want and u choose who gets green
