Here's the thing...everyone loves the idea of this, but how many protests have you seen for a war that is killing more Americans and lasting longer than Vietnam.
We as the youth of today have lost that revolutionary spirit. Its sad, but a Summer of Love type phenomenon needs a galvanizing event to kick it off.
SO, it could happen, but we would have to MAKE it happen.

I'm game though...where should the revolution begin?
West Coast? Colorado?
What's the intent, the goal driving our movement?
Can't just be to bring back the summer of love...corporations tried to "bring back Woodstock" and look how that turned out.

I think we should center the up raising around the We The People thing.
Since now government is all about the government and not the people.
It is about time We the people took our country back.

I could dig the "We the people, for the people" thing but teens these days would not be interested. We would have to offer weed and LSD and shrooms and music and that kinda shit, pretty much.

I'm bringing this one back up again.
I just watched a History Channel show all about hippies and it focused on the summer of love phenomenon.
I really think the time is right for another counter-culture revolution.
We have all the ingredients...the war, the drug prohibition, a government which is too powerful, a country of people looking for answers that conventional society can't provide.
Let's keep this thread alive for those who are interested, and actually brainstorm ways to make ourselves seen and heard out there in the real world.
