try not to use metal!! but alot of plastics may leach unwanted stuff in ya goo that ya dont wanna smoke. But ya could be  if ya cause the slightest of spark- static even.

Also stay away from flames, sparks, and electrical objects, butane is very flamable and easily lit.

First get some glass jars. They're easy to find because all jars are made of glass.
then go get a pie pan, or baking pan. They're also easy to find in glass because, well, it's extremely common.
have you seriously had trouble finding objects made out of glass?

I think it would be pretty hard to find a piece of glass thats a cylinder like that. at least in my area it probably would be very difficult

Go to the light section at a hardware store, they have tons of cylinders made of glass for encasing porch lights etc. I've found them in 3, 4, 5 and 6" diameter.
Or, mason jar.
