 Question about Mandala & Nirvana Seeds

I recently soaked 20 seeds for 24hrs, 10 from each breeder to prep for germination. I then placed each seed pointy side facing up about a 1/4 inch deep into rockwool cubes. The few that did germinate the roots grew out of the cube instead of a seedling. Is there something I did wrong during my process? I dont wanna blame it on the seeds but on my own error, but I have used this exact same method to germinate other seeds and had no problems. Help or suggestions please!

Weeelllll...the pointy side is the side from which the taproot emerges, so technically you planted the seed upside down.
