Yeah, in better words, it's when you slice the bottom of a cactus, then the top of another one (most of the time a columnar one) then "merge" them together, so the grafted cactus (scion) can use the other cactus as rootstocks and to grow faster, very useful for seedlings and slow growing cacti (such as peyote).

Thanks, like I said, that is not all. I am just frustrated with my camera. I have a waist high Mimosa hostillis, Acacia tree and several dream herb plants.
That first graft is actually growing better than all the others. There is one below it on the same pereskiopsis that needs to be redone. It has shot out roots and is lacking growth.
Those are the only type of grafts I have had any luck with. The impale graft.
