any shroomerites who visit the ethnogarden regularly will have seen most of my pics already...

u still got the best cacti garden i've ever seen. i remember the time the cops came and trashed ur cacti that was fucked up. glad to see ur still kickn it with the ethnos

by the way damn that poppy field is so beautiful don't tell me they're all yours! are they?

i wish i could say that is my field of poppies but no it isn't...
it's a field i found near where i live last year, awesome sight to behold...
seems that quite a few farmers have started to grow poppies in this area, found a couple more fields this year but i didn't have chance to take any more pics unfortunately :shrug:

it is as easy as parking at the side of the road, walking into the field and taking pictures, there are no fences, just a small ditch...
i went back after dark and liberated the pods though... :laugh:

just cut about 150 pods and legged it :yesnod:
i never used the pods, i gave them away to someone and gave all the 200g of seed away in contests too :shrug:

Yeah, in better words, it's when you slice the bottom of a cactus, then the top of another one (most of the time a columnar one) then "merge" them together, so the grafted cactus (scion) can use the other cactus as rootstocks and to grow faster, very useful for seedlings and slow growing cacti (such as peyote).

Fazed: that's one beautiful loph :laugh:

Here is some of mine.




I have a bunch of dream herb plants and an Accacia tree as well but as you can tell the camera takes shit pictures. I'll add them another day when I don't want to throw my camera against the wall.

Thanks, like I said, that is not all. I am just frustrated with my camera. I have a waist high Mimosa hostillis, Acacia tree and several dream herb plants.
That first graft is actually growing better than all the others. There is one below it on the same pereskiopsis that needs to be redone. It has shot out roots and is lacking growth.
Those are the only type of grafts I have had any luck with. The impale graft.
