He also had some pretty bad things to say about Joe biden and hilary - yet he picked them for his top two spots.  The point is that politicians will say anything to get elected.  I think he understands the issues surrounding drugs and how they influence the lower class.

plus i think even if the question did get to #1, he would skirt the question, quote the FDA or some bullshit excuse to go back on his word.

apparently the open for questions closes at 12 am today.  our question was last seen at #1 :ooo:.  We should get it up to number 1 every week until we get the answers we want to hear.

through an amazing internet movement the question has been brought to #1.  not only that, but every page seems to have at least 2 medical marijuana-related questions on it.  to me, this shows that this issue is one of significant importance to the population, and hopefully this fact will also be recognized and respected by the appropriate political powers.

i am going to move this thread into the medical/activism forum.

It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. There was one question that concerned me.  It was something along the lines of, "With so many positive cannabis votes and questions, do you think that this poll has been skewed or is disproportionate?"  I wonder if they will take that stance.  I am as in favor of legalizing all drugs as much as anyone but I kind of see it like that as well.  But i think the fact that it was the top one with only 800 no votes speaks volumes.  I am very eager to see the response and I hope that it's not some bullshit from the FDA, nida or some other ideological government agency that restricts research for their own gain.  I know he's a smart guy - now that he's not worried about being elected lets see what he truly believes.  And hopefully it comes from him and not some misguided representative.  Furthermore, I am very curious to see who he will pick to head the DEA and be the drug czar.  If I was president I would probably pick Rick Doblin to be the drug czar.  Wouldn't that be cool.  lol.

if he gives us an answer we don't like we'll push it to the top of the polls next time until he gives us a logical no bs answer.  It's that simple.

It's pretty awesome that we could rally in such a sort period of time and get our question up to #1 by far

We'll see if he actually answers it and what his answer is.

I also took notice that the 2 questions concerning mj were the only ones in the top 10 to have less than 1000 people dislike the question.  :discorex:

THIS is exceptionally exciting!  Two very strong questions "legalize, tax & control" and "medical marijuana and sick folk"  --- he already state previously he would not prosecute or go after the ill in states where MJ is approved medication.  I think we already know his stance on that one

now it's time to get the question of, "why do you not support the legalization of marijuana?" in the top ten.
