ya i think mine was a 2610, although im not sure where they pulled that number from, as i chose not to fill out any informantion at all about my mother.
im gonna go talk to my financial aid advisor about it.

its just a number, while it stands for Expected Family Contribution, it is not a dollar amount they expect your parents to pay. Like you said, talk to your financial advisor, they will be able to give you all the information you need
