i beat the system
while filling out my fafsa i noticed one of the questions on the *can you claim your self as a dependent* page had a question that was worder something like:
"has either a) both parents deceased before you turned age 18 or b) been a ward of the state until you were age 18."
im not going to go into details, but i was able to say yes to that question, and i am able to claim myself as an independent. so i HOPE that that means i will get funding out the ass.
we will see.

Yes, you definitely will! That is really good man. You should go completely for free.
Most people dont realize that if they put forth a little effort and do FAFSA and look for help, they can go for very little (unless they come from a rich family)
