Good idea. I think I'm going to make a fire. I want to move to Canada just so I can play in the snow...I am really thinking about it.

2 quarts is nothing. I can lift that with my wood no sweat. J/K. about the quarts anyway, not the lifting. lol I know what you mean. Good for you. I'm too lazy. I've bought 2 cords this year and my kids stacked all of it. They also keep the porch and hearth loaded. It's good for them I figure. I know it's good for me. lol

We don't burn it for heat though so it should last the winter easy. Just use it for a small wood burning fireplace for aesthetics and occasionally outside in one of my fire rings.

We all love a nice fire. I rarely even light them myself. My youngest (12) always wants to do that.

Also. I made a grill insert for my fireplace. Cooking steaks on hardwood inside where it's wood and hanging out with some good friends is da shit. Hot dog roasters get good use too.
