I love this state, there just isn't much to do around here
but I kind of like being out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by vast forests/fields and mountains
it's peaceful, and beautiful

Sounds sweet. I live in the sticks too but not on a spread like that. I was thinking poppies were a fall/winter crop in some areas. You may could get an earlier start than you thought. I may be wrong on that too though. Been a while since I looked into it.
